Important Update – Practice Closure

Carindale Medical Clinic will be closing permanently on Friday 5 December 2025.

It has been a privilege to care for you and your family since the Clinic opened its doors in 1979.

This decision has not been made lightly, and we wish to ensure that you continue to receive the medical care you need without disruption.

What this means for you

• The practice will cease seeing patients after Friday 5 December.
• From that date, our doctors and staff will no longer be available for consultations or prescription renewals.

Continuing your care

Whilst Carindale Medical Clinic will cease to operate, to assist your transition, below are locations where our doctors will continue to practice in the local area, as well as some local GP Clinics that you might choose to consider:

Accessing or transferring your medical records

Your medical records will be securely stored in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles.

If you would like your records transferred to another doctor, please:

1. Ask your new GP clinic to send us a signed request for transfer before 5 December 2025.
2. Alternatively, you may contact us directly via records@carindalemedical.com.au or (07) 3398 5225 before closure.

After 5 December 2025, records will be securely managed by Highgate Hill Doctors (an Ausdocs Group Practice) for the legally required retention period (7 years, or until a minor turns 25).
